Cars of Palestine, Inc. is a family-oriented, non-profit organization that participates in local parades several times each year, travels to other communities for parades and shows, hosts other car clubs in our state who visit Palestine, and gives assistance to members and non-members alike in finding parts – and sometimes that special auto in someone’s memory. Cars of Palestine is a member of the Texas Vehicle Club Council and the Palestine Chamber of Commerce.

Who We Are

CARS of Palestine was organized in 1986 in Palestine, Texas, located in beautiful East Texas, to provide an opportunity for local car enthusiasts to meet, socialize and maintain the spirit of good fellowship. We encourage the use of these special interest autos in activities which promote our community; however, car ownership is not a requirement for membership.

CARS is an acronym for; Classic, Antique, Racing and Sport, covering all the types of automobiles that we honor.

Annual Car Show

Community Event

Cars of Palestine annually hosts the “Cars of Palestine People’s Choice Car Show”, held in conjunction with the opening weekend of Palestine’s Annual Dogwood Trails festival. This is a premier statewide show that attracts 75 to 200 auto enthusiasts from across the state each year often spending the weekend in Palestine.

Community Outreach

Helping The Community

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. In the fall of each year, the club determines how much extra money is left from money raised by the car show and it is donated to community organizations such as the Stock Pot, The Women's Shelter, Area Food Pantries, Meals on Wheels, children's homes, and more.
